MAC BLUSH // PEACH TWIST

(Images: all mine)

First off, it has been a while hasn't it?! I'd been so busy with school for two weeks straight that when I had this week off I really wasn't in the mood to do anything- not even blog, haha! I needed a little break from doing anything and just binge watch Gossip girl. But now i'm back and ready to start posting regularly again, woohoo!

I got this gorgeous MAC blush when I was in Berlin on a schooltrip in May. It was love on first sight. Well, kind of. I was debating between this one and a berry colored blush. But 'Peachtwist' made the cut!
What  can I say? I love my peach colored blushes.  I've been wearing it quite often. It has a very pretty shimmer to it- nothing too much, very subtle!

After looking at the blushes I own- I did come to the conclusion that I really need some other colors than all the peachy ones because i'm soooo guilty of only buying blushes in the same color range, haha!

EAST SIDE GALLERY

(Images: all mine)

This is a different post, it has nothing to do with make-up or fashion. But I really wanted to show you guys & gals some of the pictures that I took whilst I was in Berlin on a school trip in May. These are some of my favorite shots I took of the Berlin Wall. It's so colorful and I just love how creative people are. I find these walls incredible (history + art!).

I know there hasn't been a post up in quite a while, that's because I've been super busy with school (exams, school projects, etc.). I honestly can't wait until the holiday starts so I can start posting regularly again.

SUPERFOOD // COCONUT FIBERS

(Images: all mine)

Superfood! This is one of 'em. And not only is it really good for you (full of fiber!), it's also delicious in your food, smoothie, dessert, etc.

These coconut fibers were €1,50 at Kruidvat (Dutch drugstore). They've been selling multiple superfood products for a while now:
» Chia seeds
» Goji berries
» Hemp seeds
» Wheat grass powder

I've already tried the coconut fibers in my smoothies and in my oatmeal (along side with my chia seeds, flaxseed, fruit, etc). It adds a nice flavor to your meal or drink, so if you're a fan of coconut- I'd definitely recommend it! Would you gals and guys like to see some healthy smoothie- and or food ideas? If so, let me know in the comments!

CHARCOAL & BLACK SUGAR // FACIAL MASK

(Images: all mine)

How cool is this facial mask by Freeman?! I was at Kruidvat, a Dutch drugstore, when my eye caught this mask. I got it and I've used it a couple of times now. At first I was confused.. because the texture really reminded me of a scrub (because of the sugar) and I was thinking to myself: "Uhh.. did I buy a mask or a scrub...?!". But it's a polishing facial mask! So you kind of get the best of both worlds. It's oily, but I didn't have any problems with breaking out or anything like that- so let's keep our fingers crossed that I didn't just jinx my self right there.. haha!

I applied the mask with my fingers, I smeared a thin layer on my face and let that sit for about 5-7 minutes, just like the packaging suggested. It doesn't harden like a regular mask (since it's oily). The mask is black when you get the product of the tube, but once you put it on your face it looks like a transparent black color. I still think it's cool, though. After I've applied the mask and let it sit for about 5-7 minutes, I scrub it for a minute or so, and I rinse it off with warm water.

My skin felt super soft after the mask! Normally my skin might need a little bit of cream, because it can be a bit dry, but with this mask I really didn't need to apply anything to my face because it was so moisturized.
For those who want to know what skin type I have, my skin is a combination of oily and normal/dry. I have an oily T-zone and the rest of my face is normal to dry I'd say.

If you want to try it, I'd say go for it! It's something very different from the 'traditional' facial masks, but hey- you've got to try out new things, right?!

Price: €3,99.
