CHARCOAL & BLACK SUGAR // FACIAL MASK

(Images: all mine)

How cool is this facial mask by Freeman?! I was at Kruidvat, a Dutch drugstore, when my eye caught this mask. I got it and I've used it a couple of times now. At first I was confused.. because the texture really reminded me of a scrub (because of the sugar) and I was thinking to myself: "Uhh.. did I buy a mask or a scrub...?!". But it's a polishing facial mask! So you kind of get the best of both worlds. It's oily, but I didn't have any problems with breaking out or anything like that- so let's keep our fingers crossed that I didn't just jinx my self right there.. haha!

I applied the mask with my fingers, I smeared a thin layer on my face and let that sit for about 5-7 minutes, just like the packaging suggested. It doesn't harden like a regular mask (since it's oily). The mask is black when you get the product of the tube, but once you put it on your face it looks like a transparent black color. I still think it's cool, though. After I've applied the mask and let it sit for about 5-7 minutes, I scrub it for a minute or so, and I rinse it off with warm water.

My skin felt super soft after the mask! Normally my skin might need a little bit of cream, because it can be a bit dry, but with this mask I really didn't need to apply anything to my face because it was so moisturized.
For those who want to know what skin type I have, my skin is a combination of oily and normal/dry. I have an oily T-zone and the rest of my face is normal to dry I'd say.

If you want to try it, I'd say go for it! It's something very different from the 'traditional' facial masks, but hey- you've got to try out new things, right?!

Price: €3,99.
